The iconic Columns Hotel, located uptown on St. Charles Avenue, is seeking experienced and passionate candidates to join our restaurant and bar team. We are currently looking to fill the role of Host in either a full and part-time capacity. Benefits: Highly competitive compensation- hostsreceive $8/hour along with a .5share of the tip pool All full-time employees are eligible for health insurance after 90 days Family meal every shift 50% employee discount when dining at the Columns Fully vaccinated restaurant staff About the Job: As the restaurant host, your main responsibilities will include welcoming every guest in a warm and friendly manner, checking them in via Resy, bringing guests to their tables, and assisting the rest of the service team whenever possible. The ideal candidate has at least 1year of experience in a similar position, and above all has a passion for food, cocktails, wine, and hospitality. Must be great at multitasking and team-oriented as we are a pooled house and expect everyone to assist wherever possible while on duty.
